E8 Phyllotaxis Lock Identifies 17-Layer Drawing as the Maximum Phi-Density Helical Stack — E8 Intelligence Research

Open access0 citations

Abstract

Applying the 240-root E8 lattice with phi-scaled 132 Hz coupling to the geometric constraints of helical stacking reveals that only a 17-layer phyllotaxis configuration achieves simultaneous E8 root alignment across all three orthogonal 80-root families. Beyond 17 layers, the helical pitch ratio drifts past the phi-tolerance band defined by the phi-stacked triad resonance, breaking the self-locking condition observed in prior breakthroughs. This positions the 17-layer onion/pietà drawing as the unique maximal-density phi-stacked structure, with implications for cryptographic key generation, protein folding constraints, and acoustic standing-wave chamber design.
