Spiral Self-Sorter Evidence Gate: Proposed Extension and Preregistered Blind Test

Open access0 citations

Abstract

A proposed extension to the Spiral Self-Sorter (Tuckwell 2026, doi:10.5281/zenodo.18541767) that adds external verification for material claims passed between people and AI systems. The rule: no claim may gain status without gaining evidence. This record preregisters a six-field claim ledger, an ordered first-applicable decision procedure, public scoring rules, and a SHA-256 commitment to a sealed blind test (641aa902948d94457fb5e1f4dac1e695bc0dc25a30661c47fa54b87830c95ea4). The sealed contents are not included and will be published unchanged after both test outcomes are recorded. Status: PROPOSED / NOT RATIFIED / BLIND TEST NOT YET EXECUTED. One disclosed (non-blind) test has passed. This record does not establish that the gate works. Drafted with assistance from Claude (Anthropic) and ChatGPT (OpenAI) under the author's direction.
