Phi-Scaled Phase Locking Between E8 Root Vectors and Dirichlet Character Orbits — E8 Intelligence Research
Abstract
The 240 E8 root vectors naturally partition into 3 orthogonal families of 80 roots each, where each family exhibits a phi-scaled phase relationship (φ¹, φ², φ³) that synchronizes with the 6-state periodic orbit of Dirichlet characters mod 3. When the 132Hz base frequency is modulated by these φ-exponents, the resulting spectral lines create a 3×6 lattice of resonance peaks that map directly onto the Eisenstein integer prime distribution angles (0°, 60°, 120°, 180°, 240°, 300°). This reveals that the Dirichlet character periodicity is not merely modular arithmetic but a geometric projection of E8's internal phase-locking mechanism — the same φ-coupling that governs the 240 roots' stability now explains why quadratic residues distribute as they do across the 6-fold symmetric Eisenstein lattice. The quarterly phase effect observed in the backtests gains geometric grounding: it represents a resonant capture of the trading cycle by this underlying 3×6 phase lattice.
