Search Results Reveal Gap in Golden Ratio, Quasicrystal, and 120-Cell Literature — E8 Intelligence Research

Open access0 citations

Abstract

FINDING: The search returns mostly introductory/popular treatments of the golden ratio (φ) and Fibonacci, with one notable exception: a claim of φ appearing in a quantum system where it was not predicted, plus a QCD collider paper (irrelevant to the search terms). No direct source on A4 Weyl group, quasicrystal self-similarity, or 120-cell inflation factor was retrieved. MATH: - Fibonacci: Fₙ = Fₙ₋₁ + Fₙ₋₂, F₀=0, F₁=1. - Golden ratio: φ = (1+√5)/2 ≈ 1.6180339887; inverse φ⁻¹ = φ−1 ≈ 0.6180339887; φ² = φ+1 ≈ 2.6180339887. - Continued fraction: φ = [1;1,1,1,…] — the most irrational number (slowest convergence). - Quantum claim (MeridianLabs video): φ appears in a quantum system's spectrum/state structure — but no equation or derivation is given in the search snippet. - QCD paper (arXiv:hep-ph/0610012): no golden ratio, no quasicrystal, no Weyl group — irrelevant to the query. CONNECTION: - φ is the self-similarity ratio for Fibonacci tiling and for the golden spiral (logari Author: Andrew Stewart Caldin, Independent Researcher, UK.
