Formal Recursive Layer Theory (FRLT) employs a triple-pivot scalar field Σ whose equal‑tension surfaces form asymmetric trifocal ovals, establishing a geometric basis for generative stratification and linking spatial structure with stability properties encoded in the Hessian of Σ.
