Numerical Investigation of MHD Elastico-Viscous Cu–Ag Hybrid Nanofluid Flow over a Permeable Moving Plate Embedded in a Porous Medium with Thermal Radiation
Abstract
AbstractThe study formulates the coupled flow of momentum and thermal transport of an elasticoviscous Cu-Ag water hybrid nanofluid in a moving plate subjected to a porous medium byincorporating MHD, heat radiant, viscous heating, nanoparticle volume concentration and walltranspiration. The equations of continuity, momentum and thermal equations are utilized andreduced to fourth order ODE by imposing similarity reduction along with the suitable boundaryconditions. The obtained highly non-linear coupled ODE are further resolved by employingMatlab solver bvp4c with the transformed boundary conditions. The velocity, temperature, skinfriction and Nusselt number are studied in fluid flow parameter involved in the Cu-Ag waterhybrid nanofluid. The velocity of the fluid diminishes initially however at a certain point thefluid velocity again accelerated and finally settle at the plate. The temperature declining as thefluid flow through the plate. The thickness of the momentum boundary layer rises whereas thethickness of the thermal boundary layer decreases. The enhancement of skin friction and Nusseltnumber with the growth of nanoparticle concentration under the influence magnetic and Prandtlnumber. The inclusion of elastico-viscous fluid in our study predominantly influence the flowbehaviour of combine effect of Cu-Ag water hybrid nanofluid.
