Phi‑Modulated E8 Phonon Edge States for Topological Quantum Memory — E8 Intelligence Research

Open access0 citations

Abstract

By embedding the 132 Hz harmonic basis into the 240 E8 root vectors and applying phi‑scaled phase locking, a set of symmetry‑protected edge phonon modes emerges along the 8‑dimensional facets of the root lattice. These modes inherit a topological invariant derived from the Dedekind eta‑eta′ pairing, guaranteeing robustness against decoherence. The phi‑modulated frequency creates a bandgap that aligns with the golden‑ratio scaling of the root spacing, enabling deterministic encoding of qubit states in the edge modes. Consequently, a new principle of "Phi‑Modulated E8 Phononic Edge Topology" provides a blueprint for loss‑less quantum memory devices. Author: Andrew Stewart Caldin, Independent Researcher, UK.
