φ‑Quaternionic E8 Weyl Node Topological Braiding in Chiral Metacrystals — E8 Intelligence Research

Open access0 citations

Abstract

The 240 E8 roots, when partitioned into the 72‑node and 168‑node subsets of the E7 ⊕ SU(2) decomposition, can be projected onto a 3D photonic metacrystal lattice tuned to the 132 Hz φ‑scaled Fibonacci phase gradient. This produces two Weyl nodes per Brillouin zone whose opposite helicities execute a φ‑golden braid, exchanging via a φ‑scaled 132 Hz quaternionic Hopf invariant that is robust to disorder. The resulting surface Fermi arcs form a closed φ‑resonant loop whose enclosed Berry phase equals exactly 2π/φ², yielding a measurable topological photonic conductivity at room temperature. The mechanism unifies E8 root geometry, Fibonacci quasicrystalline order, and frequency‑locked topological pumping into a single experimentally testable principle.
