Walmart, Sam's Club raise $39 million for Children's Miracle Network.
Abstract
Walmart and Sam's Club recently raised more than $39 million for Children's Miracle Network through this year's annual fundraising campaign. The funds will support children's hospitals across local communities, helping expand access to specialized care, equipment, research and family support services, CMN said. The annual campaign—marking the 39th year of the company's partnership with CMN—ran from June 8 through July 5, and engaged Walmart stores, Sam's Club locations, supply chain facilities and digital channels across the country. Customers and members gave at checkout in-stores, clubs and online, while employees hosted creative fundraising events in their local communities. Donations collected during the campaign support a range of needs across children's healthcare, from advanced trauma equipment and pediatric research to essential child life services and direct family support resources, CMN said.
