Abstract

The “nano-architect function” in which holometabolous insects (pupae) rebuild complex morphologies without external instruction while undergoing dramatic tissue dissolution, and the phenomenon of inheriting larval memory into the adult stage, cannot be fully explained by conventional classical molecular diffusion or gene transcription control alone. In this paper, we overcome the metaphor of viewing life as a “computer” computing specific algorithms. Based on the paradigm of the biological system as an “in vivo analog quantum synchronizer (phase synchronizer: Bio-QPU),” we propose a verifiable predictive model wherein the flavoprotein cryptochrome (CRY) functions as a quantum resonance element (Bio-QPU) within non-dividing, long-lived neurons, coupling with the 31P nuclear spin resonator in Posner molecules to achieve continuity and non-destructive memory retention of the “life code (drive recorder of life)” even under the extreme noise environment of tissue dissolution. Here, we formulate that “selective decoherence” via chemical triggers—which turns decoherence, an error in artificial machines, into a function—acts as an advanced morphogenetic mechanism that granulates only necessary morphological dimensions without destroying the entire wave packet, while safely maintaining and protecting rich background information as waves.
