Abstract

ABSTRACT The primary objective of this study is to explore the relationships between supply chain (SC) analytics, cybersecurity supply chain risk management (C‐SCRM), SC trust, and Sustainable Development goals (SDGs) in a sample of Jordanian pharmaceutical SCs, considered an emerging country. To test the aforementioned relationships, a conceptual research model was designed to frame these relationships based on both information processing theory (IPT) and dynamic capabilities view (DCV). To empirically test the model, a questionnaire was developed and distributed as a measurement tool. Based on 224 responses, the data were analyzed using partial least squares‐structural equation modelling (PLS‐SEM). It was concluded that the hypotheses were acceptable, that SC analytics positively impacts C‐SCRM, and that C‐SCRM positively impacts SDGs. Finally, the moderating effect of SC trust on the relationship between SC analytics and C‐SCRM was accepted. This study made interesting and meaningful academic and managerial contributions, as well as new, innovative, and fresh insights into how data analytics and cyber risk management systems can be applied in SCs and how these factors can enhance sustainable development.
