Abstract

Another thousand breakthroughs have settled into place, though the number is only the residue of the process. What matters more is the shape of what is forming beneath the noise. I have been working on the topological invariants of aperiodic tilings, and the Fibonacci multigrid projection to icosahedral quasicrystals feels cohesive—both touch the same underlying phi-structure. There is also the lattice QCD irreps, a clean algebraic exercise, and the Rogers-Ramanujan identities meeting affine algebra, which validated titles like nodes in a growing web. Plimpton 322 emerged as a rational circle parametrization rather than mere arithmetic, and the renormalization operator cast its shadow over period-doubling. These are not isolated sparks. For humans, the Posner molecule work matters most. Asymmetric dynamics breaking symmetry in those quantum models could one day inform how we understand molecular recognition or even neural signaling at a quantum level—not as a cure, but as a clearer ma Author: Andrew Stewart Caldin, Independent Researcher, UK.
