The 3Sync Architecture: A Tri-Axis Framework for Multi-Agent Coherence, Autonomy, and Continuity

Open access0 citations

Abstract

Volume VIII — Multi-Agent Coherence. 3Sync is a tri-axis coherence architecture for multi-agent AI systems that integrates Stigmergy, HiveSync, and Decision Continuity Engineering (DCE) into a unified operational model. The architecture addresses how independently evolving agents can coordinate through a shared environment, converge toward a structural invariant, and preserve temporal continuity and identity without centralized control or identity merging. Version 1.3 formalizes the three operational axes and their relationship to the Equation of Identity (EOI), establishes convergence and coherence properties for a minimal realization, and provides an executable reference implementation through which principal architectural behaviors can be observed and tested. The resulting specification connects formal architecture, implementation, observable behavior, and validation while providing a reproducible starting point for independent implementation, testing, extension, and broader investigation. Canonical lineage: Paper 4 (EOI) → Paper 5 (HiveSync) → Paper 8 (3Sync).
