The dark perturber in JVAS B1938+666 as a test of Tetrahedral Emergent Gravity: a consistency check and a 5-cell geometric note

Open access0 citations

Abstract

We record what Tetrahedral Emergent Gravity (TEG) can and cannot say about detection V in the lens JVAS B1938+666: an object with m80 = (1.13 ± 0.04) × 10^6 M☉ at z = 0.881, no detected light, an unresolved core, and an almost constant-surface-density disk out to ≈ 139 pc. A consistency check using published TEG v8 formulae predicts Mvac = 0 in the absence of baryons. A geometric extension identifying the quaternion vacuum cell with a regular 5-cell yields a compact fraction fc = 1/5 = 0.20, near the observed value, but shows an axis tension regarding the disk radius. Published TEG does not predict this object; it remains an observational anomaly. We document the test, the 5-cell geometry, and the open gaps.```
