Security Challenges in Cloud Computing

Abstract

The modern IT infrastructure relies heavily on cloud computing because it delivers organizations superior flexibility together with scalability and reduced operational costs. Cloud computing presents multiple sophisticated security concerns that organizations must actively deal with to secure their data bases as well as fulfill regulatory standards. The investigation in this paper addresses fundamental security issues which affect cloud environments starting with data breaches and extending to data sovereignty and identity and access management issues and continuing with insider threats and infrastructure vulnerabilities before concluding with compliance matters and DDoS attacks and supply chain risks.
