X-Crypt: Amplitude-Based Encryption Derived from ZEUS (Zero-Entropy Unified Substrate), an Emergent Information-Geometric Substrate
Abstract
This record contains the preprint X-Crypt: Amplitude-Based Encryption Derived from ZEUS (Zero-Entropy Unified Substrate), an Emergent Information-Geometric Substrate and its Appendix A, the public test passage. The preprint reports foundation measurements on the live state of an X-Crypt instance, evaluated exclusively from recorded amplitude data: bit-exact reproducibility across independent instantiations, rigidity of the fixed point over thousands of iterations, independence of the fixed point from the state history, the factorisation of the fixed point into an input scalar and an instance vector under scalar inputs, instance binding concentrated in the network's bottleneck, shape invariance of the whole network over the transient, and the same behaviour in a second network of different structure. The measurements validate the base assumption of X-Crypt: that the instance-bound amplitude landscape has the properties required of cryptographic material. Appendix A consists of two files. XCrypt_AppendixA_TestPassage2_Cipher.txt is the X-Crypt ciphertext of a short passage of continuous prose: 238 lines, one amplitude per character, spaces included, no sentence markers. Its SHA-256 is 5c96319c985fa603b45c7ceb9ec825225ff14ec955e3ebdefecf1de850220ae0. XCrypt_AppendixA_TestPassage2_Commitment.json seals the plaintext in advance: it contains the SHA-256 and SHA-512 of the exact plaintext, the SHA-256 of the ciphertext file, and the plaintext encrypted with AES-256-GCM, with nonce and ciphertext disclosed and the key withheld. The attack model is the one stated in the paper: the reader holds the ciphertext and the procedure and does not hold the instance, the positional map or the credential. The solving period is six weeks from the publication date of this record. After that period the AES key, the plaintext, the recorded amplitude landscapes of all measurements and the analysis scripts will be released in an updated version of this record, so that the commitment can be verified and every quantity in the paper recomputed. No scripts, constants, weights or descriptions of the generating system are part of the release.
