Microstructure density engineering via sandpaper templating for high-performance PTFE/PDMS triboelectric nanogenerators
Abstract
A microstructure-density engineering strategy is proposed to enhance triboelectric nanogenerator performance using sandpaper-templated PTFE/PDMS triboelectric layers and MXene-AgNWs electrodes. By optimizing sandpaper grit and tribo-layer thickness, the charge transfer and storage are effectively improved. The optimized TENG (400 μm, 1200#) achieves a short-circuit current of 25.50 μA, an open-circuit voltage of 334 V and a transferred charge of 113 nC. It also delivers a maximum power density of 3.09 W/m 2 , a pressure sensitivity of 38.85 V/kPa, fast response, and excellent durability, demonstrating great potential for self-powered sensing and energy harvesting.
