Reconstruction of Hypertriton Signals in Simulated Data of the BM@N Experiment

0 citations

Abstract

This work presents a reconstruction of the $$_{\Lambda }^{3}{\text{H}}$$ hypernucleus in its two-body mesonic decay channel, featuring improved selection criteria to suppress background contributions. A comparison of two versions of the BmnRoot analysis framework shows a substantial increase in reconstruction efficiency after improvements to the tracking algorithms. A qualitative assessment of geometric decay parameters is also carried out, comparing model predictions with experimental data.
