Searches for the Tensor Glueball in ψ(3686) Radiative Decays at BESIII

Abstract

Search for bound states of gluons–glueballs–remains one of the most important challenges of the modern QCD. Notable progress in this task has been achieved in various studies of $$J{\text{/}}\psi $$ decays performed by the BESIII Collaboration. In this paper we present overview of the BESIII glueball search program. Preliminary results of one such study, radiative $$\psi (3686)$$ decays into $${{\pi }^{0}}{{\pi }^{0}}$$ system, are shown as well.
