Carried Difference Under Pressure
Abstract
This paper develops ToEv5 as a philosophical and technical framework for judging when an observed difference becomes a carried consequence. It extends the account introduced in Dynamic Space, Carried Consequence, and Coherence by specifying how claims should identify their Boundary, Load, Carrier, relevant Pressure, counterfactual alternatives, Track, evidence, and conditions for Reopening. The paper distinguishes occurrence from consequence, prediction from confirmation, and local correction from comprehensive transformation. Its ordered Spine clarifies the discriminators required for progressively stronger classifications, while the Six-Entity Tricircle and Carrier-formation analysis organise inquiry without independently authorising conclusions. The result is a bounded method of consequential attribution: a claim should be placed no higher than the Load shown to have been carried under relevant conditions.
