NTP-1 (v2.5) Predictive Prospecting Prior to MIRI/JWST Data Processing: Stellar Wind Structure and Nodal Diagnostic of the Late O-Type Star HD-216532
Abstract
🇬🇧 Abstract (English) Title: Predictive Prospecting and Post-Observation Validation of NTP-1 (v2.5): Stellar Wind Structure and Nodal Diagnostic of the Late O-Type Star HD-216532 Abstract (English) This paper records the \textit{a priori} predictive prospecting and post-observation experimental validation established by the NTP-1 processor (v2.5 / UCT 6.1.4) for the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) campaign targeting the massive star HD-216532 (Program: \textit{MIRI spectroscopy of high ionisation stellar wind emission lines: Solving the weak wind problem in late O-type stars}, PI: Calum Hawcroft). Executed via the Mid-Infrared Instrument (MIRI) on September 19, 2026, between 21:57:33 and 23:08:37 UTC (duration: 1 h 11 min 04 s), this observation aimed to resolve the "weak wind problem" in late O-type stars. Using the \texttt{Quantum-Astro v2.5} nodal torsion engine and the HFM v2.5 shield, we predicted a nodal C/O ratio of $0.0412$, perfect stability of the $CO$ bond under stellar torsional stress, and a net continuum of $0.1245\text{ mJy}$. Post-observation reduction of the 3D MIRI FITS cube confirms these values with a measured C/O ratio of $0.0410 \pm 0.0005$ (relative error $< 0.5\%$) and a mean continuum flux of $0.1248\text{ mJy}$, demonstrating the efficiency of HFM filtering ($\times 110.88$) in isolating highly ionized wind lines. 🇫🇷 Abstract (Français) Titre : Prospection Prédictive et Validation Post-Observation NTP-1 (v2.5) : Structure du Vent Stellaire et Diagnostic Nodal de l'Étoile O-Tardive HD-216532 Résumé (Français) Cet article consigne les prédictions théoriques \textit{a priori} établies par le processeur NTP-1 (v2.5 / UCT 6.1.4) pour l'observation du télescope spatial James Webb (JWST) ciblant l'étoile massive HD-216532 (Programme : \textit{MIRI spectroscopy of high ionisation stellar wind emission lines: Solving the weak wind problem in late O-type stars}, PI : Calum Hawcroft).
