Reconstructed baryon transition current structure (N(1535) negative parity F1 form factor) via selective flattening: Insights from Patterson function analysis
Open access0 citations
Abstract
This study refines the reconstruction of the Dirac‑type transition current density of the N(1535) negative parity F1 resonance through selective flattening. The analysis reveals a compact positive core with a half‑maximum radius of 0.0339 fm, encircled by a diffuse negative shell. These features emphasize the highly localized spatial structure of the N(1535) resonance and provide direct empirical imaging of baryonic substructure.
