COSMIC-007: Large-Scale Structure Anisotropy in Rubin Observatory DR1 (Preregistration)

Abstract

Preregistration of COSMIC Framework prediction COSMIC-007, stated before the Vera C. Rubin Observatory's first annual data release (DR1, expected mid-2028). The prediction: beyond about 100 megaparsecs, galaxy distributions show statistically significant directional anisotropy, aligned with the axis at galactic coordinates (l, b) ≈ (210°, −20°), published on eequalsicsquared.com by May 2026, before the Rubin survey began. The record fixes outcomes in advance, tightening those first published on the Testing Schedule by adding a 3σ threshold and the specific axis; it states what was already public at the time of filing and names the revision the framework makes if the prediction fails.
