From Traditional Destinations to Emerging Education Hubs: How Mobility Is Redrawing International Higher Education
Open access0 citations
Abstract
International higher education is becoming less concentrated in a small group of traditional destinations. Immigration constraints in established markets are coinciding with the expansion of regional education hubs, transnational delivery and new national recruitment strategies. This article argues that the next phase of internationalisation will depend not only on where students move, but also on where programmes, faculty and institutional capacity move, with important implications for UK universities.
