Abstract

A practical guide to designing Service-Learning projects at university, conceived as a resource for the training of teaching staff. It combines a theoretical approach -what Service-Learning is, its features, its dynamics and what it offers for each party- with an eleven-step design process, from identifying the social need through to evaluating the learning and the service. All of this in the form of a conversation between the three voices that make Service-Learning possible -teaching staff, community organizations and students- accompanied by key ideas, templates and checklists ready to adapt to your faculty, degree program or module.
