Baryon number density dependent charged compact star admixed with dark energy: consistent with recent observational results

Abstract

In this work, we investigate an anisotropic charged compact star model interpreted as a strange quark star in [Formula: see text]-equilibrium admixed with dark energy. The effects of finite strange quark mass ([Formula: see text]) and baryon number density ([Formula: see text]) are analysed within the MIT bag model. Medium effects are incorporated through a density-dependent bag parameter [Formula: see text] using established parametrisation. The stability of strange quark matter is examined via the energy per baryon ([Formula: see text]), which decreases with increasing [Formula: see text], with stronger dependence for larger dark energy coupling parameter [Formula: see text]. Imposing [Formula: see text] MeV and [Formula: see text] identifies distinct stability regions. Exact solutions of the Einstein-Maxwell equations are obtained using suitable density and charge distributions. Model parameters are constrained by causality and positive central pressure, yielding bounds on [Formula: see text] and anisotropy parameter [Formula: see text]. The interior solution is matched with exterior Reissner-Nordstr[Formula: see text]m spacetime. Mass-radius relations agree with observed compact objects, including [Formula: see text], reaching a maximum mass of [Formula: see text]. Stability is verified through energy conditions, sound speeds, hydrostatic equilibrium and adiabatic index. It is observed that charge, anisotropy and dark energy significantly enhance structural stability and compactness.
