MODEL ADOPTION #1874: REJECT — VIDEO SCOUT: Romeo - Turtle Soup Method A to Z — E8 Intelligence Research

Abstract

DECISION: REJECT ELEMENT: No single rule survives hostile review. The "sweep prior day/week low/high + close back above/below" filter is a discretionary pattern, not a codable edge for 15s–7m scalps. Prior-day levels are too coarse for our fractal timeframes; E8 sacred geometry already defines entry zones with higher precision. The method's core premise (fade sweeps) is already implicit in our FADE polarity edge—adding an explicit filter would double-count the same signal while introducing lag (waiting for 3-bar close) that kills scalp timing. EXPECTED IMPACT: Win-rate change: −2% to +1% (noise). Profit: likely negative due to missed momentum continuations (sweeps that keep going) and added latency. The projected +1.5R–2.5R window improvement is speculative; our existing loss log shows those rizzy5m shorts failed due to E8 target placement (mid-range), not because they lacked a turtle-soup confirmation. RISK: Over-filtering removes valid entries where sweep + E8 target alignment Author: Andrew Stewart Caldin, Independent Researcher, UK. Part of the E8 Intelligence Research series.
