Abstract

Preregistration of an examination of the combination step in J. Ellis,R. Konoplich, N. E. Mavromatos, A. S. Nguyen, A. S. Sakharov andE. K. Sarkisyan-Grinbaum, Phys. Rev. D 99, 083009 (2019). Criteria, thresholds, random seeds, controls and a stopping rule were fixed beforeany computation. Photon energies of eight Fermi-LAT gamma-ray bursts are permuted amongfixed arrival times, the kurtosis estimator is re-evaluated on everypermutation without a grid, and the eight results are combined by theprescriptions of the reference work: 200,001 permutations per burst andtime window, across a family of forty time windows, on two machines ofdifferent processor architecture with different random seeds. This is the version under which the valid run was executed. It is thethird attempt; two earlier versions were executed and failed their owncontrols, and both remain deposited unchanged. Deposited in German and English; the German file is the binding record. Predecessors: version 1.1, doi:10.5281/zenodo.22285126;version 2.0, doi:10.5281/zenodo.22287439.
