Architecture Science: Foundations of the Architecture Formation and Transformation Research Program

Abstract

AS-01 presents the foundations of the Architecture Formation and Transformation Research Program within the Architecture Science research umbrella. The paper asks whether architecture can serve as a transferable comparative scientific variable linking formation, reconstruction, identity, transformation, and succession across heterogeneous organized systems. It proposes a provisional minimal representation Ω := ⟨X,R,S,T,C⟩, positions the program against mature predecessor fields, reports bounded internal cross-domain pressure-test results, and defines explicit falsification conditions and open research problems.The release does not claim that Architecture Science is an established independent discipline, that universal architecture laws have been demonstrated, or that the framework has been independently validated across domains. Generalized architecture reconstruction, transferable identity criteria, the transformation taxonomy, architecture/aggregate discrimination, independent generativity, and architecture-level added value relative to the strongest native methods remain open.This Zenodo record is designed as a single co-release object containing the AS-01 manuscript and its Supporting Constitutional & Scientific Record. The Supporting Record provides bounded traceability for the internal constitutional status, claim classifications, falsifiability map, cross-domain findings, counterexamples, adversarial objections, open issues, and research provenance relied upon by the paper.
