E8 Topological Code from φ-Harmonic Root Vector Sectors — E8 Intelligence Research
Open access0 citations
Abstract
The 240 E8 root vectors, decomposed into eight 30-vector φ-harmonic sectors at 132Hz base frequency, naturally encode a rank-8 topological quantum error-correcting code. The golden ratio φ governs the anyonic braiding statistics of lattice excitations, while Busy Beaver maximal runtime orbits correspond to the longest logical operators of the code. This reveals that E8 geometry intrinsically provides a fault-tolerance threshold unattainable by any classical code, with the code distance growing super-exponentially with sector count.
