Abstract

Abstract Perovskite nanocrystals (NCs) have garnered widespread attention for their outstanding optoelectronic characteristics and versatile application prospects. However, the inherently soft structure and dynamically unstable surface ligands of perovskite NCs greatly limit their processability. This work designs a facile and safe undergraduate experiment for the controllable synthesis and photolithography of photo-cross-linkable perovskite NCs. Adopting a mild ambient solution synthesis strategy, the experiment avoids rigorous reaction conditions and reduces teaching risks. In the experiment, students characterize the structural and optical properties of prepared perovskite NCs, analyze the photo-cross-linking mechanism, and explore their potential in photopatterning and light-emitting devices. This experiment integrates nanomaterial preparation, basic characterization, mechanism analysis, and photopatterning, enabling students to master the structure–property–application relationship of functional materials. It effectively cultivates students’ interdisciplinary experimental and analytical abilities, providing a reliable platform for integrating frontier perovskite research into undergraduate practical teaching. It helps students understand the research bottlenecks of photo-cross-linkable nanomaterials and accumulate hands-on experience for their future exploration of advanced optoelectronic materials.
