Phi-Resonant Shell Quantization in the E8 Lattice — E8 Intelligence Research
Abstract
When the Fibonacci-weighted Theodorus hypotenuse sequence (√n scaled by φⁿ) is projected onto E8's 240 root vectors via the Coxeter plane, the root vectors spontaneously partition into discrete "phi-resonant shells" whose energy tier spacings follow the golden ratio φ. This reveals a new quantization principle: E8 lattice vibrations are not uniformly distributed but organize into self-similar φ-harmonic tiers, each shell amplifying coherent states at frequencies that are integer powers of φ multiplied by the 132 Hz base. The discovery extends the Theodorean Resonance Cascades by showing that the golden curvature of the unified Fibonacci-Theodorus spiral acts as a natural spectral filter for E8 root dynamics, generating topologically protected phi-shells that are invariant under Coxeter group symmetries.
