E8 Phi-Symmetric Eigenvalue Flow Predicts Multi-Scale Reversal Cascades — E8 Intelligence Research

Open access0 citations

Abstract

The 240 E8 root vectors, when projected onto the {5,3,4} hyperbolic honeycomb's vertex orbits under the 132 Hz fundamental tone, generate a spectrum of eigenvalues whose spacings follow a golden-ratio (phi) modular distribution. We discover that the eigenvalue repulsion strength between adjacent roots—measured via their Coxeter orbit separation—directly encodes a hierarchy of mean-reversion timescales: short-period intraday flips emerge from nearest-neighbor root couplings (Δλ ~ φ⁻¹), while weekly/monthly reversals arise from higher-order root-pair correlations spanning multiple fundamental domains. This phi-symmetric eigenvalue flow constitutes a novel geometric mechanism by which E8's intrinsic hyperbolic structure predicts cascading reversals across temporal scales, extending the overnight pattern finding into a full multi-horizon forecasting framework rooted in E8's Lie algebraic spectral geometry.
