From the "Illusion of Infinity" to "Finite Life": Systematic Termination of the Parallel-Universe Myth by Yuanxian T⁶⁴ Theory — Paradigm Leap of Cosmic Ontology from Mechanical Container to Self-Referential Living Organism

Abstract

“The universe is infinite,” “parallel worlds,” “another you” — these notions have long seeped from academic papers into popular culture and become iconic images of modern cosmology. Yet few have asked: do these “frontier theories” truly stand? Eternal inflation, quantum many-worlds, the anthropic principle and other infinite-universe theories face fundamental, self-inconsistent dilemmas in the three dimensions of logic, physics and cognition. Taking the 64-dimensional compact topological self-referential structure of Yuanxian Theory $\mathcal{T}^{64}$ as the unique ontological base of the cosmos, this paper systematically elaborates, in a style that combines accessibility with rigour, that the cosmos is not infinite and that no parallel copy exists. It is a finite yet boundaryless, self-referentially closed, unique higher-order living organism. The so-called “infinite universe” and “parallel space-times” are merely cognitive illusions generated by low-dimensional projection — just as the shadow of a finite body on a wall can be infinitely subdivided, while the body itself remains one. The paper establishes four layers of core laws — the Ontological-Base Law, the Self-Referential Mind-Field Law, the Dimensional-Reduction Projection Law and the Spacetime-Uniqueness Law — and thereby systematically terminates the threefold dilemma of the infinite universe at its geometric root, while delivering final judgements on the three mainstream theories of eternal inflation, quantum many-worlds and the anthropic principle.
