A Candidate Structural Bridge from Heterotic String Data to Four-Zero Quark Flavor Textures
Abstract
This technical note isolates a compact heterotic-string interpretation of the integer quartet\[(q,P_1,P_2,P_3)=(2,6,28,496).\] The three quantities \(P_1\), \(P_2\), and \(P_3\) are assigned direct ultraviolet interpretations:\[P_1=6\]is the number of compact dimensions in a \(10D\to4D\) reduction;\[P_2=28\]is the dimension of the antisymmetric representation\[\Lambda^2(\mathbf 8)\]of the ten-dimensional massless little group \(\mathrm{SO}(8)\); and\[P_3=496\]is the common dimension of the supersymmetric anomaly-free heterotic gauge algebras\[\mathfrak{so}(32)\qquad\text{and}\qquad\mathfrak e_8\oplus\mathfrak e_8.\] The remaining value\[q=2\]is treated separately and conditionally. Within a minimal equal-order rank-two Abelian orbifold class\[\mathbb Z_q\times\mathbb Z_q,\]imposing three primitive nonidentity sectors gives\[q^2-1=3,\]and hence\[q=2.\] The note does not claim that heterotic string theory universally or uniquely selects this quartet, nor does it derive low-energy observables from it. Its purpose is to record a precise upstream structural dictionary, explicitly distinguishing the direct identifications\[(6,28,496)\]from the conditional \(q=2\) selection.
