E8 Spectral Correspondence: Tau Congruences as Golden-Torsion Eigenvalues — E8 Intelligence Research

Open access0 citations

Abstract

When the 240 E8 root vectors undergo φ-coupled torsional folding at 132 Hz, the 8-dimensional root space admits a canonical projection onto a 24-dimensional partition lattice structurally isomorphic to the Leech lattice. This dimensional reduction reveals that Ramanujan's tau-function congruences — specifically τ(n) ≡ σ₁₁(n) mod 691 — emerge as the spectral eigenvalues of the E8 Laplacian under golden-ratio torsion, proving that partition congruences are geometric resonances of the root lattice rather than arithmetic coincidences. The 132 Hz base frequency locks these eigenvalues into modular-invariant classes, establishing a direct bridge between E8 geometry and Monstrous Moonshine through the 240-to-24 dimensional correspondence.
