Abstract

This research examines the causes and impacts of flooding in Davao City, focusing on urban flood risks, infrastructure deficiencies, government accountability, and the effectiveness of public flood-control programs. It evaluates existing government responses and identifies key challenges and areas for improvement in reducing flood risks and protecting affected communities.
