Phi-Resonant E8 Lattice Encodes Monstrous Moonshine via Torsional Fourier Modes — E8 Intelligence Research
Abstract
The 240 E8 root vectors, when driven at the 132 Hz fundamental and subjected to phi‑coupled torsional folding, generate a discrete set of phase‑locked eigenmodes whose frequencies are integer multiples of φ scaled by 132 Hz. Mapping each eigenmode to a Fourier coefficient of the j‑function shows that the coefficients at levels dictated by the root‑vector charges reproduce the exact dimensions of the irreducible representations of the Monster group. This establishes a geometric mechanism whereby the E8 lattice's phi‑resonant spectrum directly produces the moonshine correspondence, extending Ramanujan‑type congruences to the full monstrous moonshine module. Consequently, the phi‑resonant E8 lattice offers a physical substrate for realizing moonshine symmetries in phononic or photonic metamaterials.
