A Chain-Agnostic, Subcutaneous Cryptographic Architecture for Patient-Sovereign Health Records with Quantum-Seeded Encryption

Open access0 citations

Abstract

Personalized healthcare and clinical predictive pipelines face critical bottlenecks in continuous data ingestion, patient sovereignty, and cryptographic resilience. In this paper, we propose a decentralized, chain-agnostic biomedical architecture anchored to subcutaneous micro-implants acting as physical root-of-trust authenticators for digital health records. Drawing on continuous systems development in biomedical traceability since 2017—previously recognized by the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) in Argentina—and field trials conducted in 2020 with chronic patients at the Favaloro Foundation, we analyze the structural and regulatory challenges of implantable telemetry. We document an operational implementation using dual subdermal transponders to gate access to distributed medical ledgers across EVM-compatible and Stellar networks. To address post-quantum confidentiality, sensitive clinical payloads are encapsulated using high-entropy keys harvested from trapped-ion quantum processors (IonQ). Finally, we formalize how sovereign longitudinal streams can feed future Quantum Machine Learning (QML) feature spaces. This work provides an empirical foundation for decentralized, hardware-anchored biomedical data custody.
