Abstract

This research examines the language, rhetoric, and argumentative strategies used by lawyers during the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Z. Duterte. It analyzes their use of English, code-switching, courtroom mannerisms, persuasive techniques, debate strategies, and legal discourse to understand how language shapes argumentation, credibility, and persuasion in a high-profile Philippine legal and political proceeding.
