Bioactive metabolites produced by F. prausnitzii

Abstract

To investigate the functional consequences of F. prausnitzii depletion, we cultured the bacterium under strict anaerobic conditions in Reinforced Clostridial Medium (RCM) and performed untargeted metabolomic profiling of the supernatant.
