Abstract

Abstract Humanity yearning for respect, tolerance and equality goes a long back in history, but the curious thing to note is that although our societies have in many respects made great strides in the technological, political, social and economic field. Even though much have spoken about human rights but it is very difficult to give crystal clear definition of human rights. Some philosophers have aptly remarked that, it may be difficult to define what the human rights are, but it is impossible to ignore them. The struggle of Human Right aims for the human happiness. A society can be nominated as civilized society only after the fulfilment of the rights of individual including tribal people. Human rights are the rights which are invariant to all human being irrespective of nationality, place of birth, colour, religion, language or any other status. Human rights are not a luxury to us but it is a basic need of very human being. Commonly alleged as rights of tribal over forest produce and forest land and forest rights have been a major area of concern as well as debate in India. Tribal peoples in our India having their own culture and customary practices need to be protect by the stated. Tribal have emotional, psychological and cultural attachment with the forest as they always lived in the forest.
