Abstract

This article evaluates the biological efficacy of various chemical insecticides (Imitrin 20% EC, Syperphos 60% EC, and Bagira 20% EC) applied at different dosage rates against the mealybug (Pseudococcidae), a common pest attacking Eastern redcedar (Juniperus virginiana L.), under the conditions of Nukus city, Republic of Karakalpakstan during July–August. The dynamic changes in pest population density and biological efficacy were comparatively analyzed on days 3, 7, and 14 following chemical treatment. The findings revealed that Syperphos 60% EC applied at a rate of 0.9 L/ha exhibited the highest biological efficacy of 97.8% by day 14.
