Absence of Direct Mathematical Links Between Babylonian Fractions and Metrology Grids — E8 Intelligence Research

Open access0 citations

Abstract

FINDING: Search results are a scattered set of educational videos and one astronomy paper; no direct mathematical linkage between Babylonian sexagesimal fractions, optimal transport, and metrology grid spacing is provided. The only substantive mathematical content is the quasi-satellite paper's orbital dynamics. | MATH: No equations given in the search snippets. The quasi-satellite (469219) 2016 HO3 is in a 1:1 mean-motion resonance with Earth; its orbital period ≈ 365.25 days, semi-major axis ≈ 1.0 AU, eccentricity ≈ 0.1, inclination ≈ 8°. The paper's core math involves N-body simulations and spectral analysis of reflectance (silicate material) — no explicit constants or ratios in the abstract. | CONNECTION: Weak. The sexagesimal video (base-60) is the only geometric-harmony link — base-60 yields highly composite fractions (1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/5, 1/6, 1/10, 1/12, 1/15, 1/20, 1/30, 1/60) which are exact in sexagesimal, relevant to angular metrology (360° = 6×60).
