The Canonical Architecture and Definitions of the CEBI Model: A Formal Specification of the Integrative Thinking–Emotional Intelligence Framework

Open access0 citations

Abstract

The Canonical Architecture and Definitions of the CEBI Model presents the formal specification of the Integrative Thinking–Emotional Intelligence Framework and its structural representation, the Cognitive–Emotional–Behavioural Integration (CEBI) Model. This document consolidates the constructs established across Papers 1–4 and provides the authoritative reference for the framework’s definitions, architecture, causal relationships, and terminology. The specification formalizes the three-layer framework — How You Think, How You Feel, and How You Act — and the constructs operating within each layer: Interpretation, Integrative Thinking, Emotional Output, Emotional Intelligence, Behavioural Output, and Intelligent Behaviour. It also clarifies the framework’s causal mechanisms, distinguishing the formalized chains from generic cognition–emotion–behaviour or thought–emotion–behaviour intuitions found in broader literature. The CEBI Model offers a concise structural representation of the framework, while this specification establishes the canonical terminology and conceptual boundaries for future theoretical, applied, and interdisciplinary work. This document serves as the stable reference for anyone engaging with the Integrative Thinking–Emotional Intelligence Framework.
