Pleistocene climate and topography shape phylogeographic divergence and adaptation in Bupleurum chinense

Abstract
We sampled 24 populations across the natural distribution range of Bupleurum chinense in China and successfully assembled chloroplast genomes for 81 individuals, providing a comprehensive dataset for investigating population differentiation, phylogeographic structure, and historical demographic patterns across the species range.
