GRAVITY — Foundational Research Record — Advocate Soumen Saha

Abstract

This record preserves and presents an exploratory line of reasoning concerning gravity, developed by Advocate Soumen Saha from the ordinary observation that an apple falls. Rather than treating this familiar phenomenon as the end of explanation, the inquiry asks whether the phenomenon of falling can be examined from a different conceptual perspective and whether an apparently ordinary event can lead to a deeper question about the nature of gravity. The conceptual sequence of the inquiry is: Observation → Question → Inquiry → Reflection → Understanding. This Version 1.0 records the existence, authorship and conceptual direction of the inquiry. It does not claim that a new law of gravity has already been scientifically established, nor does it claim to replace Newtonian gravitation or General Relativity. Further scientific development would require precise definitions, mathematical formulation, comparison with existing gravitational theories, derivation of consequences, and testable predictions capable of distinguishing the proposed idea from established explanations.
