Exact Certificates for the First Two Cases Not Covered by Steinberger's Cyclotomic Minimum-Degree Theorem

Open access2 citations

Abstract

Steinberger's cyclotomic minimum-degree theorem leaves 46189 and 96577 as the first two uncovered parameters. This preprint proves the conjectured minimum degree and unique monic nonnegative-real minimizer for both values using exact integer separation certificates in a CRT tensor-array model. The certificates are independently checked by tensor-marginal evaluation and full-array fiber-sum verification. The results concern two fixed parameters; they do not prove the general conjecture or an infinite family. Status: Public Beta; internally verified candidate proof; external review pending.
