Why Newton Was Obsessed With the Number 7 — A Carlo Hybrid Analysis

Open access0 citations

Abstract

This work presents a full structural and mathematical analysis of Isaac Newton’ssevenfold cosmology, based on the complete manuscript “WHY NEWTON WAS OBSESSEDWITH THE NUMBER 7 — A CARLO HYBRID ANALYSIS” and its companion compendium“NEWTON’S SEVENFOLD ARCHITECTURE” (10.5281/zenodo.22103397). Newton’s inheritedsymbolic sets — the seven classical planets, seven metals, seven colours, sevendays, seven heavens, and seven musical notes — are formalised through atop‑down binning operator: \[\Pi_7 : X \rightarrow \{1,\dots,7\}\] as documented in the manuscript: “Define the 7‑projection operator: Π7 : X →{1,...,7}. Partition: X = \bigcup_{k=1}^7 S_k; S_i \cap S_j = \varnothing fori \neq j.” The compendium further establishes Newton’s axioms: “Axiom N7: ∃ n = 7 such thatn encodes cosmic completion. Harmony(D) ⇒ |D| = 7.” This Zenodo entry provides the complete paper, the formal operator definitions, the domain‑by‑domain deductions (optics, alchemy, theology, cosmology, epistemology), and the Carlo reciprocity counter‑model: \[\Pi_{\text{sym}}(x_1) = \Pi_{\text{sym}}(x_2)\quad\Longleftrightarrow\quadx_1, x_2 \text{ share invariants in } I(X)\] alongside the reciprocity relation: \[R(x,y) = 1 \quad\Longleftrightarrow\quadx,y \text{ mutually constrain or stabilise each other}.\] The final collapse demonstrates the structural divergence between Newton’snumerological universe and the Carlo symmetry‑driven framework.
