FINDING: Golden ratio φ emerges as quantum dimension in anyon fusion categories, linked to pentagon equation solutions and fractal self-similarity. | MATH: φ = (1+√5)/2 ≈ 1.618; quantum dimension d = φ satisfies pentagon equation for Fibonacci anyon model; diagonal/side ratio in regular pentagon = φ; fractal dimension log(φ)/log(2) ≈ 0.694. | CONNECTION: φ appears in pentagon/pentagram geometry (0.382, 0.618, 1.618, 2.618 ratios), Fibonacci sequence, and 5-fold crystallographic symmetry (quasicrystals).
